Lamco Single Station
Single Station Former
We have a combined work experience of over 100 years of vacuum forming plastic! Not to mention that many of these years were spent producing products that many thought impossible to do so. Especially with the quality we demand from ourselves.

The quantity of products you need will determine if this type of forming is good for you and the tooling required to do the job. Usually, if you require 5,000 parts or more to be produced within a year, injection molding would be the better method. Many people start out with vacuum forming and as their sales grow they switch to injection molding as a cheaper alternative.

What is vacuum forming? It's a process where a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto or into a single-surface mold and held against the mold by applying vacuum between the mold surface and the sheet of plastic.

For more information on vacuum forming and if it's right for you, please contact our sales or technical department and we will be happy to help.
